Old Stone, New Life.

This project thoughtfully renewed the garden while preserving its historic character. A crumbling bluestone patio was replaced with a new, more generous terrace, reusing much of the original bluestone and defining the edges to create additional usable space. The existing Colonial stone steps were carefully straighten and adding missing steps for functional natural stair. Invasive ground cover was removed make way for a productive vegetable garden. Natural materials, thoughtful restoration, and the reuse of existing stone allowed the garden to feel both refreshed and deeply rooted in its heritage.
